- If we had a petting zoo, it would consist of 12 dogs, 4 cats, 2 red-fronted macaws, and 20 White Cloud Mountain Minnows.
- If we created a band we would have 1 Trumpeteer, 2 guitarist, 1 Kalimbist, 1 violinist and 2 pianists. San Francisco Symphony watch out!
- Martellers speak a diverse range of languages, including English , Vietnamese, Mandarin, Spanish, Japanese , Khmer, French, Tamil, Telugu, Italian, Russian , Hindi, Kannada, Tullu, Gujarati, Punjabi and Cantonese with varying degrees of fluency.
- We are quite athletic, engaging in sports like Golf, Football (wide receiver) , Tennis, Soccer, Pickleball, Volleyball, Softball , Baseball (Catcher) , Bocce Ball, Badminton, Basketball, Cycling, Hockey (Defense) . We’ve also been cheerleaders, Yoga enthusiasts, Swimmers, Horse riders and avid Hikers, Skiers and Ice Skaters.
- We are a team with a truly global perspective. Our shared passion for exploration has taken us across more than 50 countries and six continents. From volunteering as a family in Nicaragua to embarking on Safaris in Kenya and Tanzania, our journeys span the globe. We’ve navigated the bustling streets of Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Seoul, explored ancient history in Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, and trekked through the landscapes of Australia, New Zealand, and Easter Island. We’ve traveled from the peaks of Switzerland and the landscapes of New Zealand to the historical landmarks of Russia, Europe and China to the vibrant cultures of South America, the Caribbean, and the Mediterranean. Our collective travels keep us curious, open-minded, and always ready for the next adventure. Whether we are diving into the waters of Bora Bora or exploring Southeast Asia,our global adventures shape how we think, collaborate, and connect with a diverse world.
- When we aren’t partnering with our clients, the Murdock Martell team stays busy exploring a wide array of personal passions. We are proudly defined by our diverse interests, which include scuba diving, skiing, ice skating, running, swimming, and competitive sports. We stay energized through bootcamp workouts, Zumba, yoga, and aerial fitness, and we enjoy quiet time on hiking trails or spending quality ‘barn time’ with horses. We express ourselves through ballet, improv comedy, and gardening and cooking, while staying sharp with financial investing, reading, and puzzles.
